    So I check the wiring. I think a wire was not well plugged. Now it works. I have such "sentences" : 11:52:22.169 -> 12496 GWT:TIN:CONNECTING... 11:52:22.499 -> scandone 11:52:23.204 -> 13525 GWT:TIN:CONNECTING... 11:52:23.204 -> 13555 GWT:TIN:IP: 192.168.1.111 11:52:23.251 -> 13588 MCO:BGN:STP 11:52:23.251 -> 13607 MCO:BGN:INIT OK,TSP=1 11:52:23.298 -> 13637 TSM:READY:NWD REQ 11:52:23.346 -> 13665 ?TSF:MSG:SEND,0-0-255-255,s=255,c=3,t=20,pt=0,l=0,sg=0,ft=0,st=OK: 11:52:23.535 -> pm open,type:2 0

    My sensors for Temperature, Humidity, Motion, Light level, and Door sensors were all working well, however, my dimmers, relays and switches were intermittent at best. I tried all the suggestions here and had no improvement. I monitored one of my node that had a relay and did see any on or off commands coming to the relay. PROBLEM SOLVED I thought the NRF24L01 on the ethernet gateway might not be transmitting reliably, so i changed it out. Every switch, dimmer and relay work perfectly !

    just a thought, since resets are happening under heavy trafffic: What is your serial speed? 9600 could lead to buffer overflows under heavy traffic

    If you haven't done so, copy the MyBoardNRF5.h and .cpp files to the same directory as your sketch. Also, your configuration shows S132 (SoftDevice). Soft Device is not supported for MySensors, so pick None.

    @NeoX i gave up the w5100 gateway (uno r3 + w5100 shiled + NRF24L01+PA-LNA). the gateway with NRF24L01+ and Wemos D1 mini is working flawlessly the last two days - so, it will be the way to go.

    Thanks, works. I hope the Pi gateway ist more stable than the ESP gateways . It will be a lot of work to move alle sensors to the new RFM69 driver :-)

    @TRS-80 There's an argument for putting two different value capacitors near the nRF24L01 (or whichever radio you're using). A 0.1uF bypass cap to help filter out noise, and a higher value cap as insurance against possible battery ESR and/or inductance from possible long battery leads/traces. For example: https://www.openhardware.io/view/480/Compact-nRF24L01-Pro-Mini-Bottom-Shield#tabs-design

    @MisterMel said in !TSM:FPAR:NO REPLY: The ones with external antenna still don't work, but the it will probably be fine without them I run all "regular" nRF24 radios, including the gateway, and it works well enough for me. My place is pretty small, but there are masonry walls and walls with metal studs that seem to cut down on range. I found putting the nodes up high on my walls helps a lot. Glad to hear you got it working. One more thing I wanted to re-iterate, for people coming along searching this topic later. I mentioned before, but keep experiencing this as I am working on some nodes the last couple days. Seems to me that fairly often actually, right after (re-)flashing and node boot up for first time on new software, I often get a lot of FPAR errors, which the node does not seem to come out of on it's own. But one or two resets (via on-board button) and then it starts working. Not sure what that is all about, or if others have experienced same, but I thought I would mention it again before people go nuts with other troubleshooting steps, and pulling their hair out. :wink:

    @NeoX said in Arduino Mega + W5500 + BME280 = Connection refused all the time: only one library i do find in Arduino IDE library manager I started using PlatformIO recently, and I much prefer their way of searching libraries. When you do pio run it will even take the library.h file name that you are missing and give you a link to look it up in their library search. You can also search there for library name, or file names. Very handy! Anyway, a bit offtopic for this thread, so recently I started another one where we can discuss PlatformIO (if you are interested). @NeoX said in Arduino Mega + W5500 + BME280 = Connection refused all the time: i switched to MQTT and it works fine, and i think MQTT client is more important for me I rebuilt my gateway recently (few weeks ago) and this time I decided to go MQTT way. I actually have MQTT broker running on separate machine from my HA controller. Sort of distributed architecture, if you will. So far I am really liking this approach. Soon I will add some additional monitoring and metrics based directly off the MQTT, these will also be totally independent of the controller.

    No, actually I use the RPi just as power source. The gateway connects to the hub over WiFi. The RPi is good (the original one). I will try to move to an independent power source just to test. Thanks for the reply again.

    For some reason the Gateway uses IP=255.255.255.255 (which is not a valid IP address) instead of the one you specified. There is plenty of free ram after compiling the sketch, so ram shouldn't be a problem. There have been a few similar reports earlier. https://forum.mysensors.org/post/82366 seems to be the only one that has a suggested solution. Which version of the Arduino IDE and which AVR board version are you using?
