đŹ NModule Two buttons capacitive touch switch shield

The atmega328p datasheet seems to imply that there's some sort of inherent capacitive touch capability made possible via Atmel's QTouch library. It might (?) be that you can forgo the extra capacitive touch chips. Maybe somebody reading this knows? Just mentioning, as I haven't delved into it at all.

Yes it can manage touch sensors but it needs to be actively monitoring them and there's no way it will match the 2-3ÂľA consumption of the TTP223.

I just soldered a version the easy way using the TTP223 ultra cheap breakout boards and I'm really happy with the result, finger is detected around 5mm away from the front plate so it's going to be perfect with a 3D printed box that I'm going to do right now
With NModule using CR2032 it takes a 551.9cm volume so should fit in a 545424mm box, a bit thinner if using SMD version of TTP223.
At the moment it's only made for SMD LEDs but as it's working so well with the breakout boards if there is some interest I can make a revision with a central bicolor (red/green) through hole led.

Do the ttp223 boards handle button debouncing (if there even is such a thing with "touch" buttons)?

No need for debouncing with capacitive touch ICs, it's a mechanical problem.
