@gohan said in Arduino Pro Mini Shield for RFM69(H)W:
If I remeber right that pin is used as input so the RFM69 is not receiving any 5v signal. In addition there are people claming they have the RFM69 module working on 5v on data pins and 3.3v on vcc, but I hardly suggest to do it.
thank you just what i thought .
about direct 5v on data...well... i seen a big red sign saying n :DONT do it! lol
Level converters are so cheap...that i ordered 5 or 10 thoguether with rfm69 board.
sorry about hijack this topic, i though i was on general discussion
Hi,
I finally received the boards from the manufacturer(big thanks to @Seeed-Fusion). I manage to assemble one board by soldering the components and such and...it WORKS(including OTA)! I will post the instructions on openhardware.io project page.
I have it ,look to my project.. project from example directory working .. but if power on node then register to gateway but not send actual state of relay .. I do it ..
Hi @blackchart,
Unfortunately, all devices are sold out. Further production is possible only when ordering more than 10 devices (in this case, I also can modify the device to suit your needs).
I will answer myself after some testing done today:
How can I change network id for gateway (mysgw)?
It is possible to change MY_RFM69_NETWORKID for mysgw by exporting CPPFLAGS variable with the option set before running ./configure:
example:
export CPPFLAGS='-DMY_RFM69_NETWORKID="101"'
./configure --my-gateway=serial --my-transport=rfm69 --my-rfm69-frequency=868 --my-is-rfm69hw --my-serial-is-pty --my-serial-port=/dev/ttyUSB-MysGW --my-serial-groupname=dialout
make
Is it possible to create another RFM69 network on new hardware, just for the test, while my current RFM69 network keeps running on current gateway/controller?
As soon as I started another RFM69 gateway (mysgw) on new hw, even with different network id (101), most of the sensors connected to my other (production) gateway running on old hw with default network id (100) stopped communicating... so it seems it is not possible to run multiple RFM69 gateways in the same range (on the same freq).
