@gohan It was on the nRF5 action! thread and for LoRa it was on the CNC thread.

Well, it would need to be a mysensors project since it requires specific functions to be added in code; it is not as easy as adding code for a potentiometer or a servo motor.

@gohan so it's actually you who needs a set sleep time based on energy levels?

I have seen all images with labels where to get some gpio pins on the pcb (I'd like to avoid soldering a cable directly on chip legs), but they are from all other models of sonoffs and not for the pow.

Well yes, but nrf24 frequency range is not very wide, it shouldn't be a problem to disturb that. Anyway I was just trying to find a way to detect weird signals. I know good security systems do frequency hopping on a wide range but I guess they don't use any rfm69 or nrf24

I may misunderstand how they work, but I've had the idea that (super)caps are better in short term high current situations. Like regenerative brakes for robot lawnmowers, not slow drain low power devices. It sounds to me like the life boat is the lifepo4 batteries. I'm all for experiments, so please dont stop, but unless the environmental conditions are intolerable for the batteries, I'd say you found your answer.

I don't know how, but now it seems to work. Restarted Domoticz, thats all. Now the value on the dashboard updates direct when a new data comes. Thanks for your inputs!

I guess this isnt in question anymore but I just wanted to comfirm I have tested node and it works with HW version as well. I use the code above and just added #define MY_IS_RFM69HW // Mandatory if you radio module is the high power version (RFM69HW and RFM69HCW), Comment it if it's not the case

I am fine if they get combined but still let me choose individual one: in my first screenshot you can see the sensors are all combined but no individual ones. I think also that playing with child ids could play a role in this.

I did look at the other topics like you suggested, but they were all quite old and the one you specified it looked not entirely relevant since it is detecting active beacons while I would like to scan for low energy devices, so I'm not entirely sure the hw is the same

What @Redguy describes is very close to what I wish to accomplish with my HVAC system. If I start out with modbuspoll and a moxa converter as suggested by @Redguy a few questions arise to me: Is this moxa model the right one? http://www.moxa.com/product/uport_1110.htm How do I connect my HVAC and the moxa? Simply connecting GND, TxD and RxD of the HVAC to the corresponding pins of the moxa (see pictures below)? What about 5VDC? Any helpful people here see any problems in what I am trying to do? @sundberg84 I'll consider it thanks! The price is higher of course but still in the affordable range. You see, personally I find useless to collect data that is inaccurate even if it is cheap. I have been playing with the DHT11 because I found it in the arduino starter kit I bought last year, so for prototyping is ok, but for a real application I'd prefer more accuracy and reliability

@giovaFr if you are referring to sleep(dht.getMinimumSamplingPeriod()); that was straight from the example of the DHT11 sensor.

@Efflon Hi, in fact radio modules with blob where the problems as I got them replaced with IC ones.
